Why Your Role Matters:

We’re nothing without our data, your role makes everyone's job easier, as the more relevant (targeted) a prospect list, the lower our likelihood of refunding a client. Our clients will be happier with a higher number of leads, and our Account Managers will feel supported by you knowing their clients are having the highest quality of data passed through to their clients.

Your “Two Aims”:

At Prospectiv, we believe that roughly 80% of the value of any role can be connected to two company goals. This allows you (and us) to simplify your into just two main focuses, making the day-to-day runnings of business easier. Your two aims as a Data Operations Specialist are as follows:

  1. Improve prospect list quality (relevancy of prospects)—increase lead rate (%).
  2. As a result, our cost-of-goods sold (CoGs) will be lower due to a reduced need for multiple email accounts (higher lead rate to achieve our guarantee).

Your Role:

  1. Conduct comprehensive research to identify and qualify potential leads based on client-specific criteria and ideal customer profiles (ICPs). Utilise a variety of online tools, databases, and platforms to gather relevant contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers, and social media profiles.
  2. Employ creative strategies to discover new lead sources and expand prospect databases across various industries and verticals.
  3. Organise and maintain prospect lists with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data. Regularly update and cleanse prospect databases to remove duplicates, outdated information, and irrelevant leads.
  4. Collaborate closely with the copywriting team to ensure that prospect lists align with the messaging and goals of each cold email campaign.
  5. Communicate effectively with account managers and other cross-functional teams to gather client requirements, provide updates on list-building progress, and address any concerns or challenges. Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm ideas, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of list-building processes and methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Expertise in Apollo, Crunchbase, Smartlead, or Airtable.
  • Experience working in an outbound agency.
  • Wide-ranging B2B experience across multiple industries.
  • Entrepreneurial experience.

Data Operations Specialist -> Operations Manager -> Operations Director

What You Can Expect In Your First Year:

1 Month

  • Complete your new hire onboarding.
  • Understand all technology used in Prospectiv.
  • Begin to slowly be introduced to and manage clients.
  • All work will be monitored and reviewed before being sent to clients.

3 Months

  • Start managing your book of clients end-to-end.
  • Work with other members of your team to share insight and knowledge.
  • Proactively communicate ideas and, if relevant, work with your team lead or manager to plan initiatives.

6 Months

  • Start managing your pod.
