Why Your Role Matters

As the Head of Email Deliverability and Analytics, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ email campaigns achieve maximum inbox placement and deliver optimal results. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring and enhancing key email metrics such as bounce rates, open rates, and inbox placement, directly impacting our clients’ lead generation efforts and the overall success of Prospectiv.

Your Role

  • Email Campaign Deliverability: Own and optimise email deliverability across multiple campaigns. Monitor key deliverability metrics (bounce rates, reply rates, inbox placement) and identify areas for improvement to ensure high deliverability performance.
  • Email Infrastructure Oversight: Develop an in-depth understanding of the tools and platforms we use, including SMTP mailbox providers, email automation platforms, and compliance systems.
  • Campaign Analysis and Optimisation: Continuously analyse campaign performance to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Introduce innovative strategies to maximise email campaign success.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, R&D, Reporting, Tech, and client stakeholders, to ensure flawless campaign execution and to implement best practices for email deliverability.
  • Team Communication: Provide regular updates and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders on deliverability metrics and improvements.
  • Compliance and Industry Standards: Stay up-to-date with email industry legal compliance and privacy terms (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.). Ensure that all email campaigns are compliant with global and regional regulations.
  • Technology Utilisation: Use tools like Glockapps, Litmus, and Postmaster to track and analyse email deliverability. Implement necessary adjustments to maintain and improve the sender's reputation.
  • Deliverability Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve email delivery problems, including communication with ISPs, email blocklists, and anti-spam technology providers. Collaborate with technical teams to implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of troubleshooting processes, best practices, and deliverability strategies.

  • Technically Proficient: Familiarity with tools like DNS, IP configuration, email warming, and SMTP protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with tools such as Glockapps, Litmus, Return Path, and Google Postmaster.
  • Prior experience in an outbound marketing or lead generation role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Familiarity with testing and analytics tools for email optimisation.
